Name a Goose!
Our bold, honking campus geese are Central legends. From confidently strutting across campus to claiming sidewalks as their own, these feathered figures are part of everyday life at Central. For Hoo-Rah Day only, you can make your mark by naming one of them. With a gift of at least $25 to the Journey Scholarship Fund during Hoo-Rah Day, you can submit a goose name for consideration. After Hoo-Rah Day, students will help select the winning name. When you name a goose, you’ll receive an exclusive digital certificate recognizing your generosity. Get creative and have fun. Our geese have big personalities, but we reserve the right to reject any inappropriate names. Rejected names will not result in a refunded gift. Please note: While the naming rights are symbolic, the impact of your gift is very real and helps support Central students.
