Was your gift inspired by an outstanding faculty member (past or present) who nurtured or expanded your personal learning at Central? Alumni provide a wealth of "gee-whiz" stories about professors who defined their Central experience with their personal dedication and extraordinary acts of kindness. Faculty are one of Central's great resources and embody the spirit of the College. To honor these individuals, when 25 gifts are made in honor of a faculty member, the challenge will be unlocked! Our bold, honking campus geese are Central legends. From confidently strutting across campus to claiming sidewalks as their own, these feathered figures are part of everyday life at Central College. For Hoo-Rah Day only, you can make your mark by naming one of them. With a gift of at least $25 to the Journey Scholarship Fund during Hoo-Rah Day, you can submit a goose name for consideration. After Hoo-Rah Day, students will help select the winning name. The donor who submits it will receive a stuffed goose wearing a Central t-shirt featuring the winning name. Get creative and have fun. Our geese have big personalities, but we reserve the right to reject any inappropriate names. Rejected names will not result in a refunded gift. Please note: While the naming rights are symbolic, the impact of your gift is very real and helps support Central students. Do not wait.
